This is what
one participant had to say about the workshop: “I was very unsure of this
process coming into this workshop. I leave feeling excited, enthusiastic and
prepared to participate on a visiting committee.”
The workshop
will center around the new manual and standards used in the accreditation
process. The workshop
is a must for professionals who wish to be assigned to CAIS Visiting
Committees, or those who will have a leading role in their school's self-study.
Registration fee includes materials and lunch. Note: registration is
limited! Applicants will be enrolled in the order registrations are received.
Materials will be sent and must be read prior to the workshop. $50 (includes continental
breakfast and lunch)
This program introduces
prospective members of Visiting Committees to the objectives and key tasks of
the peer review process. Using a simulated self-study, attendees work with
experts to rehearse critical tasks of the Visiting Committee - validating a school's
self-study, assessing compliance with standards, and developing a clear,
