From Hartford: Take I-84 east from
Hartford. On bridge over Connecticut River, get in second lane from right, and
follow signs onto Rt. 2 east (toward Norwich). After appr. 30 miles, take right
fork onto Rt. 11 toward New London. At end of Rt. 11, go left on Rt. 82 for less
than one mile to Rt. 85 (stop light). Go right on Rt. 85 and continue for 11
miles, then follow signs to I-95 north. Continue with directions below for
I-95.
From I-95 and points south: Take I-95 north
to Exit 89 (Allyn St.). At bottom of exit ramp, go right on Allyn St. Follow
Allyn St. 1.1 miles, past blinker, to first stop light (Rt. 1). Go left on Rt. 1
and continue down hill for 1/4 mile, to intersection with Rt. 215 (Water St. -
Fleet Bank will be on your left). Take a right onto Water St. and go 100 yards,
then turn into gated parking area on left (sign for Mystic Art Association). The
CAIS office is in Factory Square, directly across from entrance to parking
area.
