dinner meeting for faculty, administrators, business officers and
facilities managers interested in discussing the many facets of what it
takes to make a school environmentally sustainable.
The Sustainable Campus Communities Conference will dive into the many facets of sustainability including infrastructure, curriculum, and community. We encourage schools to send sustainability teams with members from facilities, administration, faculty and staff. Presenters will share successes and ongoing initiatives centered on community buy-in, curricular connections, multi-stakeholder engagement, and student leadership. Participants will attend workshops during two, 30-minute sessions. Following the presentations, there will be time for further discussion in an informal unconference setting. Drinks, appetizers and dinner will be served for more opportunities to meet, mingle and converse.
